' Painting Your Front Door and Shutters ' A QUICK WAY TO A NEW LOOK ❗

   You want to make the Exterior of your house look new and updated! But maybe you do not have the funds or dont have the need to paint your entire home.

  The Picture above is a perfect example.

  The Homeowners did not want to paint the Brick but wanted to add a new look to their home.

   I have found that many times a simple front door and shutters repaint , to be the solution.

 It is Super Economical. And Packs a big Change in many cases.

 And or if planned correctly can be a subtle change if thats what your looking for.

LETS TAKE A LOOK AT SOME KEY ADVANTAGES:

   The Paint:

 This Project usually takes a gallon of paint or less leaving your painting contractor or yourself with the Ability to use A high End coating that will stand up to the elements and the sun 🌞.  Go ahead and Splurge it is just a gallon might as well get the Best.

Resilience From Sherwin-Williams is a great choice.

   It has Moisture Guard Technology to defend steadily like a champ against rain , snow, sleet, ice.

   It's a High end paint with advance resins that allow it too last longer against the sun 🌞, and fight against mold and mildew growth.

    My Company ExtraPrep Pro Painting LLC uses Resilience on Exterior Jobs such as Front Doors and shutter repaints in Northern Kentucky and Cincinnati because of its ability also to be used outside down to 35° degrees and up too 1 hour before rain or precipitation.

Here in the Tri-State we get radical weather changes and Resilience really is a top choice for Painting outside.

 Also it comes in vinyl safe formula...ask your sherwin williams rep if your shutters are vinyl. For details.

 TIME:

 Listen we all need more time.

So if it is a Project you have your painting contractor do for you..
 You will be happy that it should take only one visit if your hiring the right contractor.

   If it is something you do yourself you should be able to complete it within a few tries. It is no where near as complicated as painting your whole EXTERIOR

    As in the picture below, you can even take your shutters down and paint them inside in a utility area. And then re-hang them. This way your not painting from a ladder at heights.

Money:

  As I mentioned above the Front Doors and Shutters Repaint should be pretty economical.  Far less than a Entire Exterior Repaint.

 Just keep in mind most painting contractors will have this job done in a day. But it does tie their busines up for a day when you factor in cleaning and re-coat times. So dont expect it too be a insanely inexpensive process.

Obviously the more Complex your Front Door System is and the number of shutters you have will play a determining factor of your cost.

Economical= Sure

Inexpensive= Probably Not.

   To Summarize.... Front Door and Shutter Exterior Painting can add a facelift to your home's appearance at a economical price point.

 Get the Best Paint Available... There is not alot of Paint Needed so Get Top Tier.

   If you do it yourself.... Remove your shutters if you can do so easily...and paint them from the ground to avoid risk of falling from painting from a ladder.

Whether you do it or a Painting Contractor does it, If you have Vinyl shutters make sure you choose a vinyl safe paint formula.
